L-Teanine Food Supplements
What is L-Teanin?
L Teanine - a unique non-proteinaceous, as usual, amino acid, found only in tea and one type of mushroom. L-teanin has been found to enter the brain and increase the concentration of gamma-amino butyric acid, serotonin and dopamine. Gamma-amino butter acid protects the brain from stimuli and acts relaxing.
Teanin may be beneficial:
- Stress and anxiety
- Sleep quality
Usage: Oral 1 capsule (200 mg) 1-3 times a day. During high tension, a dose of L teanine may be increased, but should not exceed 600 mg in six hours.
Warnings: It is not advisable to take a food supplement if you are pregnant or suspect that you are pregnant and if you are breast-feeding. A dietary supplement should not be used as a substitute for food. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Store at temperatures in the 15-25C, in a dry place out of reach of children.
